Some of the world’s biggest acts find their way to Melbourne Park this October.
Conan Gray’s Wishbone World Tour arrives at Rod Laver Arena on Saturday 3 October. Having previously performed at Margaret Court Arena and John Cain Arena, his move to Rod Laver Arena marks another step in his rise as a global pop star. A full-circle moment for longtime fans!
Next up, John Cain Arena is about to get loud as modern heavyweights Lamb of God and Trivium join forces for on Tuesday 6 October, alongside special guests Bleed From Within.
Lebanese music returns to Margaret Court Arena as Elissa brings her iconic voice and catalogue of hits to the venue on Friday 9 October. Having helped define the sound across the Arab world for nearly 3 decades, Elissa brings her catalogue of hits to Melbourne Park.
Legendary Indian playback singer Sonu Nigam brings his Revolution Tour to Rod Laver Arena for the first time on Saturday 10 October. No stranger to Melbourne, Nigam makes his Rod Laver Arena debut after decades of defining Bollywood, pop and classical music.
Returning to Melbourne for the first time since 2018, English band James bring their “America” 20th Anniversary Tour to Margaret Court Arena on Sunday 11 October. They’ll perform Laid in full alongside a career-spanning setlist of greatest hits and fan favourites.
Iconic K-pop group XG (Xtraordinary Genes) make their highly anticipated return to Melbourne Park, bringing XG WORLD TOUR: THE CORE to Rod Laver Arena on Monday 12 October. Last here in 2024, the group is back with their biggest Melbourne show to date.
Tame Impala, led by Kevin Parker, are set to perform 4 shows at Rod Laver Arena from Wednesday 14 to Saturday 17 October. With his latest album Deadbeat continuing to dominate the charts, Australia’s own Kevin Parker and his 6-piece touring band are renowned for their immersive live performances.
Lorna Shore bring their biggest-ever headline show to Melbourne on Friday 16 October, with the deathcore giants performing alongside Whitechapel and The Acacia Strain at John Cain Arena.
Continuing the metal theme, American band Avenged Sevenfold return to Melbourne for the first time in 12 years on Tuesday 20 October at Rod Laver Arena. Known for their spectacular live shows, Avenged Sevenfold will be joined by special guests Coheed and Cambria and Thornhill.
One Direction member and established solo artist Louis Tomlinson returns to Melbourne Park with his How Did We Get Here? World Tour on Tuesday 20 October at John Cain Arena, supporting his third studio album.
Hans Zimmer brings 2 massive shows to Rod Laver Arena on Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 October. The Next Level Tour sees Zimmer push the boundaries of sound, staging and scale, with live renditions of his most famous film scores. He’ll perform alongside his 19-piece band and Australian vocalist Lisa Gerrard.
Lily Allen brings her biggest headline tour to date to Rod Laver Arena on Wednesday 28 and Thursday 29 October, celebrating the success of her acclaimed new album, West End Girl. The show sees Allen perform the album in its entirety and marks her first Melbourne performances in more than 7 years.
Sporting events at Melbourne Park
Melbourne Park is the place to be for live sport this October.
The new NBL season rolls into its second month as Melbourne United and South East Melbourne Phoenix play host to a run of home fixtures. United tackle the Taipans on Saturday 3 October, Hawks on Sunday 18 October and Kings on Sunday 25 October, while Phoenix face the Hawks on Sunday 4 October, United in another early-season Throwdown on Saturday 10 October, the Taipans on Saturday 17 October and 36ers on Saturday 24 October.
The Dabble Darts ANZ Premier League also returns to Melbourne Park, with a huge night of darts in store at Margaret Court Arena on Saturday 10 October. Following the success of last year’s inaugural tour, fans can again experience the electric atmosphere that has made darts one of the must-see sporting spectacles.
In keeping with the month’s marquee sporting events, the 2026 Australia Cup Final between South Melbourne and Melbourne Victory is shaping up as a record-breaking event. South will make their maiden appearance in the Final, while Victory returns to the decider having lifted the trophy in 2015 and 2021. Stay tuned for further announcements on ticket releases!
Football is the flavour of October as the new A-League season arrives, with Melbourne Victory and Melbourne City FC kicking things off with a Melbourne Derby on Saturday 24 October, before City host a Halloween-themed home opener against Sydney FC on Saturday 31 October.
Rounding out a mega month of sport at Melbourne Park is the Constellation Cup between the Australia Diamonds and New Zealand Silver Ferns. Game 4 of the annual Trans-Tasman series arrives at John Cain Arena on Wednesday 28 October.
Family events at Melbourne Park
Family fun doesn’t get much bigger than Monster Jam at AAMI Park!
Buckle up as the iconic monster trucks return to Melbourne for 2 action-packed shows on Saturday 3 October. Fans can choose between the 12:30 pm daytime show or the 6:30 pm evening slot, when the lights take over AAMI Park. Whatever your preference, you’re guaranteed wow-worthy moments as the legendary tear up the stadium dirt.
