The NFL will take over Melbourne Park this September with a football themed festival!
The NFL Kickoff Festival presented by American Express is coming to Melbourne this September for a three-day fan event celebrating Australia’s first regular season NFL game.
The Kickoff Festival will be an immersive American-style football takeover, bringing fans closer to the game both on and off the field during game week. The festivities will kick off on Thursday 10 September, and run for three days through to the evening of Saturday 12 September, as Melbourne Park transforms into the epicentre of NFL action.
Fans can expect a range of activations, NFL exhibits, retail pop-ups, Flag Football clinics, an American food village, official watch parties, live music and more.

- There are several options for your journey to Melbourne Park:
- Public transport is the quickest and easiest option. Before you attend, plan ahead and allow extra travel time for any major disruptions.
- Parking is available at the Eastern Plaza Car Park (Entrance D, Olympic Boulevard). We strongly recommend pre-booking as drive-up spaces are subject to availability. Bookings close at midnight the night before the event.
- Note: Accessible parking must be pre-booked via Ticketek. We strongly recommend booking in advance to avoid disappointment.
- To ensure a smooth entry into the venue, download your tickets to your digital wallet before arriving.
- Bags must be able to fit under a seat, and a limit of one bag per person applies.
- Cloaking is available via Kia Arena or Show Court 3. Any prohibited items listed in the venue Conditions of Entry will not be accepted for cloaking.
- All retail outlets are cashless. Any transactions must be made using a credit or debit card.

The NFL Melbourne Game will bring the excitement of American football to Melbourne for the first time, with the San Francisco 49ers and Los Angeles Rams set to face off at the iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) on Friday 11 September 2026. This historic matchup will showcase two of the league’s most recognisable franchises and deliver a world-class sporting experience for fans.
The game will be part of a week-long celebration of NFL football in Melbourne, with the NFL Kickoff Festival presented by American Express transforming Melbourne Park into an epicentre of fan experiences, entertainment and activations. From Flag Football clinics and NFL exhibits to live entertainment and fan activations, fans can experience the excitement of the NFL both on and off the field.
