Katherine Oakley

Katherine Oakley is Chief Communications Officer at Melbourne Park, leading enterprise communications, government and stakeholder relations, media, reputation and organisational positioning.

Her experience spans more than 25 years across strategic communications, corporate affairs, brand, engagement and issues management within stakeholder environments.

She works closely with the Board, Chief Executive Officer and executive leaders to support Melbourne Park’s long-term strategic objectives, major infrastructure projects, world-class events and industry leadership. Katherine has held senior roles across all levels of government, as well as within major organisations and industry bodies. 

She holds a Bachelor of Arts, Master of Business Administration, Master of International Business with Honours and is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Katherine is Deputy Chair of the VTIC Events Sector Round Table, supporting the development of Victoria’s visitor economy.
