Refunds, Exchanges and Consumer Guarantees
At the Fan Hub, we want you to be satisfied with your purchase. This policy operates in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL), which provides consumers with guarantees that cannot be excluded or limited.
Your Rights under Australian Consumer Law
If an item is faulty, damaged, unsafe, significantly different from its description or sample, or otherwise fails to meet a consumer guarantee under the ACL, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement or refund.
A refund, repair or replacement will not generally be available where:
- the item has been damaged or the problem has been caused by misuse, improper use or failure to follow instructions;
- you were made aware of the relevant problem with the item before you purchased it; or
- the item has been altered, modified or damaged after purchase.
Where required under the ACL, Melbourne Park will provide an appropriate remedy depending on whether the issue constitutes a major or minor failure.
Proof of purchase is required for all refund, replacement or warranty claims.
Change of Mind
If you change your mind about a purchase, Melbourne Park may offer an exchange or refund, subject to the following conditions:
- The request is made within 30 days of purchase.
- Proof of purchase is provided.
- The item is unused, unworn and in its original condition.
- All original tags, labels and packaging remain attached.
- The item is not excluded under this policy.

Items Not Eligible for Returns
Unless required under Australian Consumer Law, the following items cannot be returned due to a change of mind:
- Food and beverages.
- Personal care items.
- Earrings or other pierced jewellery.
- Swimwear, underwear, socks or hosiery where hygiene seals have been removed.
- Personalised or customised products.
- Clearance or final sale items marked as non-returnable.
- Digital products or downloadable content.
- Event-specific merchandise where stated at the time of purchase.
Exchanges
Where eligible, exchanges are subject to product availability.
If the requested item is unavailable, Melbourne Park may offer a refund.
If exchanging for an item of greater value, the customer must pay the difference. If exchanging for an item of lesser value, a refund will be issued for the remaining balance.
Proof of Purchase
Proof of purchase may include:
- Original receipt
- Tax invoice
- Digital receipt
- Bank or card transaction record (where sufficient to verify the purchase)
Refund Method
Where a refund is approved under Australian Consumer Law, it will generally be processed using the original payment method unless otherwise authorised by Melbourne Park.
