Concerts at Melbourne Park

The stage is set for some of Melbourne’s biggest concerts in May.

Alt-rock legends Deftones kick things off at Rod Laver Arena on Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 May, marking their first tour in nearly a decade. One of the most innovative forces in modern rock, their live shows are not to be missed and promise an immersive experience. With special guests, Interpol and Ecca Vandal, this bill gets a whole lot more tantalising.

On the theme of comebacks, Split Enz – featuring Tim Finn, Eddie Rayner, Neil Finn, and Noel Crombie – reunite for their first tour in nearly 20 years, which includes Rod Laver Arena dates on Wednesday 13 and Thursday 14 May. You have to circle way back to 2009’s Sound Relief concert at the MCG for the band’s last live performance in Australia, so this may truly be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see Split Enz live.

Punjabi powerhouse Satinder Sartaaj also makes his return to Rod Laver Arena this month, with shows on Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 May his first since 2024’s Realm of a Poet tour. The living legend will perform not one, but 2 shows this time around, a testament to his growing popularity Down Under. Satinder’s promise to his fans is more than a concert, but a powerful celebration of culture, emotions, and heritage.

Atlanta rapper J.I.D brings his highly anticipated world tour to Margaret Court Arena on Saturday 16 May, following the release of his critically acclaimed 2025 album God Does Like Ugly, which features collaborations with Clipse, Ciara, Vince Staples, and more. Known for his dexterous lyricism and electrifying live performances, J.I.D has sold out venues worldwide and now embarks on his biggest global run yet.

No stranger to Melbourne Park, ARIA-Award winning icon Guy Sebastian returns to Margaret Court Arena for a run of all-ages shows from Friday 22 to Sunday 24 May. The tour follows 2021’s sold-out T.R.U.T.H. tour, and fans can expect an electrifying set featuring Guy’s greatest hits like “Battle Scars”, “Before I Go”, and “Choir”, alongside new tracks from 100 Times Around The Sun. Fans could also be in for a treat with Guy’s son Archer performing on stage with his dad during other stops on the tour.

Everybody Get Up! For the first time in 25 years, Five – one of the UK’s most successful and iconic bands – are reuniting for a massive world tour, which brings them to Rod Laver Arena on Saturday 23 May. Sean, Ritchie, Scott, Abz, and J will deliver the ultimate ’90s party, performing their biggest hits – from If Ya Gettin’ DownEverybody Get Up, and international smash “When The Lights Go Out” (all ARIA Top 5) to UK No.1s “Keep On Movin,” “We Will Rock You,” “Let’s Dance,” and more.

Another act to make a swift return to Melbourne Park is K-pop girl group i-dle, having previously toured in 2024. The 5-piece bring their fourth global tour, 026 i-dle WORLD TOUR [Syncopation], to Rod Laver Arena on Wednesday 27 May, and promise a powerful and immersive experience.

This clash also sets the stage for men’s elimination final action, where Melbourne Victory host Sydney FC for a place in the next round.
