Melbourne Park is set to be a melting pot of live events this August, with show-stopping concerts, sporting spectacles and family fun all on offer.
Here’s what’s coming up:
UK indie rock royalty, Bloc Party, kick things off on Sunday 3 August – celebrating 20 years as a band and the anniversary of their critically acclaimed debut album Silent Alarm. Returning to Melbourne for the first time in 14 years, they’ll also be joined by special guests, Young The Giant.
Next up, legendary Punjabi icon Gurdas Maan brings his unforgettable live show to Melbourne on Sunday 17 August. Returning to Margaret Court Arena after a memorable performance in 2023, this exclusive Melbourne concert promises a vibrant celebration of Punjabi culture and music.
One of the most anticipated events of the month, Tyler, The Creator returns to Melbourne for four unmissable performances between Wednesday 20 and Sunday 24 August. The CHROMAKOPIA: THE WORLD TOUR shows will also feature special guests Lil Yachty and Paris Texas.
Margaret Court Arena closes out the month with a flurry of star power – as internationally acclaimed rapper Jay Park arrives on Thursday 21 August. Chart-topping breakout star Alex Warren makes his Melbourne debut on Monday 25 August. One of the most-streamed female artists in the world – Camila Cabello – returns on Wednesday 27 August.
And for country fans, Australian icon Keith Urban brings his highly anticipated HIGH AND ALIVE WORLD TOUR to Melbourne on Monday 25 and Tuesday 26 August. Known as one of Australia’s must-see live acts, Urban’s high-energy, two-hour-plus shows are packed with hits and showmanship.

Kicking things off, the 2025 Suncorp Super Netball Grand Final takes over Rod Laver Arena on Saturday 2 August. Witness the world’s best netballers go head-to-head for the premiership trophy in what could be the largest crowd ever for a Suncorp Super Netball Grand Final.
Over the road at AAMI Park, Melbourne Storm continue their charge towards the business end of the season with home games against fellow finals aspirants – the Brisbane Broncos on Thursday 7 August, the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs on Friday 22 August and the Sydney Roosters on Friday 29 August. Currently sitting inside the top four, Storm face a season-shaping run as the chasing pack closes in. With strong home attendances all season, the atmosphere at AAMI Park is unrivalled.

Hot Wheels Monster Trucks Live™ Glow-N-Fire races into Rod Laver Arena on Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 August, bringing audiences the only opportunity to see real-life versions of the famous toys. Fan favourites including Mega Wrex™, Tiger Shark™, HW 5-Alarm™, Bone Shaker™, Bigfoot®, Gunkster™, plus the brand-new Skelesaurus™ – the fossil fury villain of Hot Wheels Monster Trucks – are all set to light up the arena.

Experience the magic, wonder and spectacle of Cirque du Soleil Corteo – now with additional performances in Melbourne from Friday 22 to Sunday 31 August. Directed by Daniele Finzi Pasca, Corteo, which means cortege in Italian, is a joyous procession, a festive parade imagined by a clown. The show brings together the passion of the artist with the grace and power of the acrobat to plunge the audience into a theatrical world of fun, comedy and spontaneity situated in a mysterious space between heaven and earth. Rounding out the month, Lord of the Dance – the world’s most successful dance show – returns to Melbourne on Saturday 30 and Sunday 31 August for the first time since 2015. Following a triumphant 2024 world tour of more than 250 dates, Lord of the Dance continues to captivate audiences by seamlessly blending tradition with cutting-edge innovation. The Australian tour features 40 of the world’s most outstanding young dancers, led by veteran performer Matt Smith in the role of The Lord, under the direction of Michael Flatley with music composed by Gerard Fahy.
