
March Madness has found its way to Melbourne Park, with a packed calendar of show-stopping concerts and edge-of-your-seat sporting events.
From world-renowned bands like Linkin Park to household local names like G Flip, Melbourne Park will host some of the city’s biggest concerts this March, alongside major sporting fixtures.

Whether it be a debut appearance or farewell tour, some of the world’s biggest acts will descend on Melbourne Park this month.
Australia’s own Hilltop Hoods kick things off at Rod Laver Arena with two epic shows on Friday 6 and Saturday 7 March. The hip-hop trio returns in full force with their Never Coming Home tour, and fans will have the opportunity to hear new material performed live alongside the classic anthems that have solidified the Hoods’ status as one of Australia’s most iconic live acts.
Continuing the homegrown theme, compatriot G Flip will take to the stage at Margaret Court Arena for two nights on Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 March, marking their debut appearance at Melbourne Park. From breakout star to global sensation, G Flip has become one of the country’s most compelling live performers, known for emotional lyricism and high-energy shows.
Rounding out an epic Labour Day long-weekend in Melbourne, Linkin Park – Mike Shinoda, Dave “Phoenix” Farrell, Joe Hahn, Emily Armstrong and Colin Brittain – make their highly-anticipated return with the From Zero World Tour, their first visit since 2013. Having reunited in 2024, the band will showcase new hits like “The Emptiness Machine,” alongside some of the iconic anthems that have defined their more than 20-year career.
In keeping with the nostalgic vibes, legendary hip-hop group Wu-Tang Clan return to Rod Laver Arena for the final time on Friday 27 March. The Wu-Tang Forever: The Final Chamber tour will showcase the full depth of the group’s iconic catalogue, and fans can expect never-before-performed songs and major hits from their pioneering career.
Fans of Japanese rock can look forward to ONE OK ROCK, who bring their biggest-ever Australian tour to Margaret Court Arena on Thursday 12 March, and kawaii metal band BABYMETAL perform at John Cain Arena on Tuesday 17 March.
The mandopop flavour also continues at Melbourne Park this month, as Jeff Chang, one of the genre’s most enduring voices, performs at Margaret Court Arena on Friday 20 March. Compatriot Silence Wang will perform two exclusive Melbourne shows at Rod Laver Arena on Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 March.
Completing a stacked line-up of live music at Melbourne Park in March, the precinct will also welcome all three CMC Rocks QLD headliners, with US country heavyweights Riley Green (Friday 13 and Saturday 14 March, Margaret Court Arena), Old Dominion (Tuesday 17 March) and Jordan Davis (Thursday 26 March, Rod Laver Arena) all set to grace the stage.
March brings together some of the biggest sporting events Melbourne has to offer, all within one world-class precinct.
It’s the first month of the year in which all seven of Melbourne Park’s sporting clubs are in action across their respective seasons, with codes including basketball, netball, football and rugby league.
The National Basketball League Final Series will feature at John Cain Arena, with both Melbourne teams in action. After finishing higher on the ladder, South East Melbourne Phoenix kick things off with their Seeding Qualifier against the Wildcats on Wednesday 4 March, before Melbourne United back up the next night in their sudden-death Play-In Qualifier against the JackJumpers.
Melbourne Storm get their 2026 National Rugby League campaign underway in March against the Eels under lights at AAMI Park on Thursday 5 March, before hosting the Broncos on Friday 20 March in a replay of last season’s Grand Final. Storm will be determined to make an early statement – and March delivers two blockbuster fixtures to satisfy your rugby league fix.
Melbourne’s two premier netball teams also begin their campaigns in March, with Melbourne Vixens and Melbourne Mavericks set to square off at John Cain Arena on Saturday 28 March. The local derby has quickly become one of the hottest tickets in town and shapes as the perfect entrée to what promises to be an epic Super Netball season.
The sporting action culminates in the FIFA Series at AAMI Park on Tuesday 31 March, which also marks the Socceroos’ final game on home soil before the 2026 FIFA World Cup. In Melbourne, Australia will take on fellow World Cup qualifiers Curaçao, while Cameroon faces China PR in the second match of an exciting double-header.
